Being Mortal: Advance Care Planning & End of Life Choices

October 7 @ 6:00 pm 7:30 pm

What is a good death? These three in-person presentations and discussions will address this question in a variety of ways and explore options for care at the end-of-life. Topics will include advance care planning, palliative care, hospice, voluntarily stopping eating and drinking (VSED) and medical aid in dying (MAiD). Each session will last about 1 hour and 30 minutes and take place at the Ramsey County Library Roseville branch.

Session 1 — It Always Seems Too Soon Until It’s Too Late: Advance Care Planning 101

Session 2 — Nutrition & Hydration Challenges & Choices at the End of Life

Session 3 — Who Will Speak for You? Choosing and Preparing Your Health Care Agent 
Wednesday, Oct. 14, 6-7:30 p.m. | Speaker: Brenna Galvin, JD & Death Doula
