Meridith E. Glass (1992-2026)

Meridith Eileen Glass of Roseville died on Sunday after a valiant battle with stage 4 Rhabdomyosarcoma, an extremely rare and aggressive cancer. She was 33.

Born on Sept. 9, 1992, Glass grew up in Roseville and attended Roseville Area High School. She graduated at the top of her class and was active in theater, choir and band. She went on to study music at Loyola University in Chicago and graduated in 2015. She lived in Chicago for 10 years.

Glass worked as an intake coordinator at Care Counseling. She enjoyed speaking with people who wanted to seek mental health services, and she found an incredible network of therapists that she loved working with.

Glass was known to be empathetic, patient, intelligent and joyful to her last days. Though her battle with cancer only lasted nine months, she will not be remembered for her brutal and unfair end, but for the incredible person that she was.

A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, April 19 at 6 p.m. at Como Conservatory, 1225 Kaufman Drive N. in St. Paul, Minn.

An updated version of this article corrected the spelling of Meridith’s first name.
