Elaine W. Kohoutek (1930-2026)

Elaine Kohoutek, née Kroening, of Pine City, Minn., formerly of Maplewood, Minn., passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on May 26. She was 96.

Kohoutek was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Kohoutek and son-in-law Dennis. She is survived by her daughters Karen (Mark), Diane and Janet (Steve), grandchildren Kyle (Cassy), Hannah and Rebecca (Joseph) and great-grandchildren Vincent and Wilhelmina “Willa.”

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Zion Lutheran Church, 410 S. Main St., Pine City, MN 55063.

Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

William Michael Wallraff (1945-2026)

William Michael “Mike” Wallraff of Forest Lake, Minn., passed away on May 27. He was 80.

Wallraff was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers St. Paul #110.

Wallraff was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Vivian and brother-in-law Dick Robinson. He is survived by Judy, his beloved wife of 60 years, children Jill (Sonny) Fite, Jodie (Dave) van der Sman and John (Jeni), grandchildren Max (Kelley) Fite, Jack (Anna) Fite, Nic (Irma) Fite, Ben (Lisa) van der Sman, Eli van der Sman, Lily van der Sman, Sam and Andrew, great-granddaughter Margot Fite, siblings Cheryl Robinson, Mark (Kathy), Steve (Carol), Connie (Jeff) Grady, Chris (Rob) Haskins and Lyn Barrette and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Interment Roselawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society or donor’s choice.
