RPD Identity Theft and Scam Prevention

Learn ways to safeguard your financial information and your money from scammers, thieves and fraudsters.
Roseville Police is hosting two presentations to help educate Roseville residents on the latest scams. Residents will learn ways to detect these scams and thwart thieves.
The 90-minute presentation aims to educate you on the latest scams, offers tips to prevent identity theft and provides resources on what to do if you become a victim.
“Identity theft and scams are becoming increasingly sophisticated,” warns Detective Ryan Weber, RPD’s Financial Crimes and Fraud Investigator. “The best way to reduce identity theft and fraud is through prevention.”
This event is free to register. There will be two sessions, 10-11:30 a.m. and 2-3:30 p.m.
