SUMMARY:Free Home Efficiency Assessments w/ Home Energy Squad®
DESCRIPTION:Improve Your Home’s Efficiency This Fall with a Home Energy Assessment\n\n\n\nDoes your home get cold spots in the winter? Get a home energy assessment with the Home Energy Squad® to make a plan to address them before temperatures drop. \n\n\n\nWith a home energy assessment\, an energy expert will visit your home and analyze its energy efficiency. They’ll check your insulation\, air leakage\, heating system and water heater\, then recommend updates that will help you save energy. \n\n\n\nAs part of your visit\, your expert will also install energy-saving products including LED lightbulbs\, door and attic hatch weatherstripping and more. You may even be able to purchase a smart thermostat and have it installed during the visit at no additional cost. \n\n\n\nSchedule your visit before September 30 and use code HELLOFALL for a free assessment. For more information on the Home Energy Squad and to schedule your visit\, please visit mncee.org/HES or call 651-328-6220. \n\n\n\nHome Energy Squad® is provided by CenterPoint Energy and Xcel Energy and implemented by Center for Energy and Environment (CEE)\, a local nonprofit.

SUMMARY:"Rebuilding When Your Relationship Ends" Workshop
DESCRIPTION:The “Rebuilding When Your Relationship Ends” workshop offers a caring and encouraging space where you can find hope and support during the challenging transition after a relationship ends. \n\n\n\nThe 10-session educational series\, based on the book by Drs. Bruce Fisher and Robert Alberti\, guides participants gently through this difficult time with understanding and reassurance. Rick Hammitt\, the facilitator\, has extensive experience working with broken relationships and support groups. \n\n\n\nFor many people\, divorce or ending a relationship is a broken experience\, and before they can go on with their lives\, they need to be able to pick up the pieces. People in broken relationships need time to mourn what they hoped for and realize that their dreams are broken. Give this rebuilding period the time it needs and enter the next part of life with honesty and openness\, rather than feeling stuck or like a failure. You can move from a crisis into a rebuilding experience. Whether the broken relationship is recent or from a while ago\, you will learn practical tools and strategies to help you rebuild and move forward confidently.  \n\n\n\nThis ten-week\, 20-hour workshop provides an educational experience in a warm\, supportive environment. This is not a therapy group. Emotional issues may require help from a professional therapist or physician in addition to this learning and support.
The workshop will be held at Garden Community Church\, 1440 Garden Ave in Falcon Heights\, Minn. Sessions are on Thursday evenings from 7 – 9 p.m.\, starting Oct. 8 and ending Dec. 10. The maximum number of participants is 20. We do not accept new participants after the 2nd session. The workshop uses the book Rebuilding When Your Relationship Ends (4th Edition). The fee is $129 for 10 weeks of classes (20 hours)\, including the Rebuilding book\, and aims to create a welcoming space for all. \n\n\n\nThis workshop is open to anyone with a broken relationship. Make your check payable to Rick Hammitt and mail it to Garden Community Church\, 1440 Garden Ave\, Falcon Heights\, MN 55113. Please note “Rebuilding” on the check memo line. Send your check to reserve your attendance. \n\n\n\nFor information\, call the facilitator\, Rick Hammitt\, at 651-653-8732.
