DESCRIPTION:BioBlitz Minneapolis Parks is a series of community science events to collect data on biodiversity in Minneapolis parks. Participants use the tool iNaturalist to discover and identify as many species as possible at a specific location and over a defined time period. \n\n\n\nOn Saturday\, June 20\, BioBlitz comes to Lake Hiawatha Park — 2701 E 44th St.\, Minneapolis. Keep an eye out for turtles! \n\n\n\nA general overview of the schedule of the day is as follows: \n\n\n\n\nEarly morning birding: 7:30 – 9 a.m.\n\n\n\niNaturalist Crash Course: 8:30 – 9 a.m.\n\n\n\nMorning session: 9:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.\n\nBlock A: 9:15 – 10:40 a.m.\n\n\n\nBlock B: 10:50 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.\n\n\n\n\n\nLunch: 12:15 – 1 p.m.\n\n\n\nAfternoon session: 1 – 4 p.m.\n\nBlock C: 1 – 2:25 p.m.\n\n\n\nBlock D: 2:35 – 4 p.m.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFeel free to sign up for as much or as little of the day makes sense for you! DESCRIPTION:In-person pick-up for trees ordered online during the City of Roseville tree sale will take place at the Roseville Public Works building. \n\n\n\nDetails: \n\n\n\n\nYou MUST pick up your tree on the pickup date!\n\n\n\nNo refunds will be provided for trees that were not picked up\n\n\n\nYou may have someone pickup your tree for you.\n\n\n\nYou will be provided with planting information and complimentary mulch for your tree.\n\n\n\nThere will be volunteers on site to assist with loading your tree(s) into your car. If you would like to volunteer on pick up day\, please visit Tree Trust’s Volunteer Sign Up page.\n\n\n\nTrees range in size from 3-8′ tall depending on species and weigh approximately 25-40 lbs. DESCRIPTION:BioBlitz Minneapolis Parks is a series of community science events to collect data on biodiversity in Minneapolis parks. Participants use the tool iNaturalist to discover and identify as many species as possible at a specific location and over a defined time period. \n\n\n\nThe Saturday\, June 6 BioBlitz will take place at North Mississippi Regional Park\, 5116 N Mississippi Dr.\, Minneapolis. A general overview of the schedule of the day is as follows: \n\n\n\n\nEarly morning birding: 7:30 – 9 a.m.\n\n\n\niNaturalist Crash Course: 8:30 – 9 a.m.\n\n\n\nMorning session: 9:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.\n\nBlock A: 9:15 – 10:40 a.m.\n\n\n\nBlock B: 10:50 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.\n\n\n\n\n\nLunch: 12:15 – 1 p.m.\n\n\n\nAfternoon session: 1 – 4 p.m.\n\nBlock C: 1 – 2:25 p.m.\n\n\n\nBlock D: 2:35 – 4 p.m.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFeel free to sign up for as much or as little of the day makes sense for you! You may choose one survey group per block\, up to two per morning/afternoon session. If you choose to sign up for both the morning and afternoon sessions\, a light lunch will be provided to you in between the sessions. \n\n\n\nSign up below!
