SUMMARY:Free Earth Day Celebration at HANC 🌎
DESCRIPTION:Step into spring with this annual celebration of the Earth! Enjoy free entertainment\, activities and exhibits. \n\n\n\nThis year’s Earth Day theme is “Our Power\, Our Planet.” We’ll be featuring a variety of activities and resources about actions you can take to protect our land\, air and water. There is something for all ages! \n\n\n\n\n🎶Dance along to music by Will Hale at 10:30 and 11:30\n\n\n\n❓Check out the resource tables to learn about sustainability resources throughout the community\n\n\n\n🚛Meet a low-emission Waste Management truck\n\n\n\n🌿Play EARTH Bingo and win a houseplant (while supplies last)\n\n\n\n🔎Go on scavenger hunt on the trails\n\n\n\n🖐️Participate in Environmental Stewardship activities\n\n🧵Practice basic mending techniques\n\n\n\n🗑️Pick up litter around the park\n\n\n\n🌱Help plant native wildflowers\n\n\n\n🐝Play a pollinator garden game\n\n\n\n♻️Take the recycling challenge\n\n\n\n🍴Put together a reusable cutlery pouch (while supplies last)\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEarth day is a Zero-Waste Event in partnership with Waste Management.  \n\n\n\nVolunteers make this event happen.
