RAHS Artists Earn Top Honors at Congressional Art Show

Roseville Area High School was proudly represented at last night’s District 4 Congressional Art Show, hosted by Rep. Betty McCollum. Students Archer Holman, Rachel Lee, Nitza Rodriguez Benavides, Malia Tombaga, and Ezra Young showcased their work—earning major honors!

Nitza was awarded 3rd place for her piece Asphyxia (left), which will hang in Rep. McCollum’s St. Paul office for the entire year.

  • Rachel was awarded 1st place for her work No Appetite (above), which will be included in a national show and will be on display in Washington, D.C. for the entire year. Rachel was also awarded two round trip tickets to participate in the opening of that show later this summer.

“We are super proud of all our artists and the amazing work they are creating!” Paul Moeller, a visual arts teacher at RAHS, exclaimed.
