Mary P. Vashro (Mordorski) (1955-2026)
Mary P. Vashro, née Modrdorski, passed away peacefully on Wednesday. She was 70.
Vashro attended the University of Minnesota and had a 30-year career at the University hospitals as a phlebotomy technician. She had a kind and gentle soul, and she enjoyed being outdoors and experiencing nature throughout her life.
Vashro was preceded in death by her beloved husband Thomas, parents Leonard and Helen Mordorski and brothers Thomas and David Mordorski.
She is survived by her nephew Rick (Chris) Mordorski, special cousin Paul (Delores) Mordorski and lifelong friend and caregiver Kathy Leahy.
Visitation 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 27 at the Church of St. Jerome, 380 E. Roselawn Ave., Maplewood, Minn. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m.
Interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
