School Nurse (RN): School nursing is aligned with public health nursing and is an opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of our students. Training is provided.
Health Assistant: Requirements are similar to paraprofessionals; medical background is preferred but not required. Nurses train the health assistants how to manage the health office, which includes giving medications to students and offering first aid.
