Steven Fritts (1951-2026)
Steven Grant Fritts of Shoreview, Minn. passed away on Jan. 17 from a combination of health issues. He was 74.
Fritts was born May 18, 1951 in Milwaukee. He had a brilliant mind, an insatiable scientific curiosity and found great joy in his fascination of many things. He worked as a geologist early in his career, then as a chemist for Surmodics, from which he retired a few years ago.
Fritts touched the lives of those around him with his genuine soul, his big heart and by living a life of kindness and generosity shared with many people whom he loved.
Fritts is survived by his sister and best friend Susan, brother David and nephews Jeremy and Joshua.
After having lost the love of his life, Debbie Fritts, in 2020, he has now rejoined her in Heaven.
