Carolyn Koller (1944-2026)

Carolyn Marie Koller of St. Paul, Minn. passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on July 12. She was 82.

Kind, generous, caring and classy with a fun glimmer of a rebellious side best describes Carolyn. She was strong in her faith and loved her family and friends immensely. It was her life’s pride and joy being a wife, mother, grandma and great-grandma.

Koller enjoyed being in the great outdoors with family, hiking up North, gardening and traveling especially on a motorcycle with the wind in her hair. She had a heart for animals and rescued many amazing dogs over her life including her most recent love, Duke. She was a joy to be around and created a beautiful, welcoming home for everyone. She was an angel on earth and will be greatly missed.

Koller was preceded in death by her husband James and parents Norbert and Lucy Bushman.

She is survived children Jim (Sharon) Koller and Paula (Nick) Lewis, grandchildren Nicole (James), Nicholas, Sam and Allie, great-grandchildren Nori, Vinny, Tommy, Raymond and Jackson, siblings LuAnn Elm, Kathy Palmer, Cherie Leidenfrost and Ken (Melodee) Bushman, life-partner Al Rieder and the Rieder family.

In lieu of sending flowers, the family is kindly requesting for donations to be made in Carolyn’s name to one of her favorite animal rescues: The Bond Between.

Robert W. Carter (1968-2026)

Robert W. Carter of New Brighton, Minn. passed away unexpectedly on July 20. He was 57.

Carter was a past president of the Minnesota Aquarium Society and was also the owner of BC Stonewear, a handcrafted stone jewelry and lapidary services company.

He is survived by his parents William and Velma, brothers Matthew and Mark and significant other Pat.

A memorial service is being planned for a later date.

Robert B. Moe (1946-2026)

Robert B. Moe of Roseville passed away peacefully on Thursday with his partner Mary and daughters by his side. He was 80.

Bob will be remembered for his strength, strong work ethic, resilience and generous spirit. Always a fighter, he faced life’s challenges with courage and was always willing to help others. A lifelong motorcycle enthusiast, Bob found his greatest joys in the outdoors, hunting and fishing, and on the dance floor with Mary. He was also a skilled billiards player who loved the game and the friendships built around the table.

Moe is survived by his loving partner Mary Musto, daughters Kris and Lisa Musto, sons-in-law Dan Stone and Dan Whitton, grandchildren Savannah and Dylan, nieces and nephews and many other cherished family members and friends. Bob’s kindness, unwavering spirit and love for adventure and family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A private family interment will be held.
