Doris S. Wiehe (1936-2026)

Doris “Dorie” Wiehe, neé Stahl, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday at St. Therese Senior Living at St. Odilia in Shoreview, Minn. She was 90.

Born on Sept. 23, 1936 in Hibbing, Minn. to Albert and Annie (Marchetti) Stahl, Wiehe was proud of her Iron Range roots, and she carried that pride with her to Baltimore, St. Paul, Minn. and Roseville, Minn. Wiehe’s energetic spirit and love of life continues to live on in the family who loved her.

Wiehe loved gardening and spending time outside, traveling and enjoying a myriad of other hobbies. She was immensely proud of her children and grandchildren.

Wiehe was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband John Floyd “Jack” Wiehe, parents-in-law Marie and John F. Wiehe Sr., brother Gary Stahl and brothers-in-law Dave Anderson, Toby Neuenschwander and David Wiehe.

She is survived by her sons Mike (Pam), Carl (Nancy Hinrichs), Dale (Dawn) and Paul (Andrea) Wiehe, grandchildren Laurel, Hunter and Heather Wiehe, John Smith-Wiehe (Lindsey), Sarah Svendsen (Adam) and Josh Wissler, great-grandson Louis Smith-Wiehe and future great-grandchild Svendsen (Sarah & Adam), sisters Diane Sandberg (Lenny), Marlene Neuenschwander and Carol Anderson, sister-in-law Judy Stahl and sister and brother-in-law Karen and Ron Thompson.

A funeral service for Doris will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan, 17 at Arlington Hills Lutheran Church, 1115 Greenbrier St., St. Paul.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 16 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home – Roseville and at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Alley Shoppe Ministry, Alzheimer’s Association or American Cancer Society.

Eileen O. Wallin (1944-2026)

Eileen O. Wallin, neé Muellner, of Roseville, Minn., passed away on Wednesday at the age of 81.

Wallin was born on Sept. 21, 1944 in Grey Eagle, Minn. to Adolph & Frances (Denne) Muellner. She worked as an elementary teacher at numerous Catholic schools, including St. Rose of Lima in Roseville. She was devoted to her students and was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. In her free time, she enjoyed having fun with her family, singing, needlepoint, reading and solving puzzles.

Wallin was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Ralph Muellner, Margaret Bruggenthies, Melvin Muellner and Timothy Muellner.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years Richard, children Allison (Brent) Slipka and Richard (Megan) Wallin, Jr., grandchildren Brooke and Joseph Slipka and Violet and Drew Wallin, siblings Georgianna (Donald) Haller, Jeanette (Thomas) Blaeser, Harold (Joan) Muellner, Elizabeth (Thomas) Iberg, Bernadette (Bruce) West and Thomas (Paula) Muellner.

Visitation 10-11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 22 at Maternity of Mary Catholic Church, 1414 N. Dale St., St. Paul, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.

Inurnment at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Grey Eagle, Minn.
