Bonita A. Simmons (née Keran) of White Bear Lake, Minn. passed away on Saturday. She was 92.
Simmons was born and raised in St. Paul, Minn., attended St. Vincent’s grade school and was a proud graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy class of 1952. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Simmons was preceded in death by her loving husband Richard and siblings Jean Carlson, Mary Lou Rotter and Bill Keran. She is survived by her children Sue (Gar) Johnson, Bill (Maureen), Mike (Carrie), Sandy (Mark) Rufener and Patti (Jim) Stairs; 12 beloved grandchildren and 18 cherished great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to The Pillars Hospice Home in Oakdale, MN and/or Beyond Hospice.

Christopher F. Peterka of Eagan, Minn. passed away on Sept. 5. He was 58.
Peterka is preceded in death by his father Francis and his grandparents. He is survived by his mother Kathy, siblings Beverly, Robert and Theresa (Mark) Peterson and nephews C.J. “Charlie” and Ryan Peterson.
