Barbara Jean Watne

Barbara Jean Watne of Roseville passed away on Tuesday. She was 83.
Watne was born Nov. 4, 1942, in Alexandria, Minn.— a little over two hours northwest of the Twin Cities— to Wesley Glen and Lois Laverne Kathleen McFarlane. She graduated from Little Falls (Minnesota) High School in 1961 and later Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn. in 1965.
On June 11, 1966, she was united in marriage to Joel Andrew Watne in Little Falls. Three children were born to them: John, James and Jacqueline
Watne was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Curtis Glenn McFarlane. She is survived by her husband, her children John (Sara), James (Valerie Carlson) and Jacqueline (Matthew Rolf), grandsons Paul and Michael and granddaughters Lily and Lucia.
