Brendan John Charles Benson (1996-2026)
Brendan Benson unexpectedly passed away on February 8, 2026. He was 29.
Benson loved adventure and thrived on learning new things and sharing his knowledge with others. The love he had for his family was immeasurable and he celebrated each milestone as if it were his own. These things will continue to inspire all who knew him.
Benson is survived by his parents Georgie (Damien) Tabolich Grist, Michael (Heather) Benson, John Cook, his siblings Bryce and Dyllan Benson, his grandparents Jack and Pat Tabolich, Chuck and Gwen Benson, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation 9-10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home in Roseville. The service will also be livestreamed at this link.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Wounded Warrior Project or the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

Joan Ann Ethen Hines (1950-2026)
Joan Ethen Hines of Woodbury, Minn. passed away at her home on Saturday. She was 75.
Hines was a fighter, a voracious reader, a formidable game player, a generous gift giver, an instinctive cook and a builder of communities and family.
She was preceded in death by her father Maurice Ethen, siblings Maurice, John, Terrence and LuAnne, and niece Jessica.
She is survived by her mother Eva Ethen (Sand), husband Raymond Hines, daughter Katherine (Theron) Steineck, son Andrew Hines, granddaughters Lila and Ingrid, siblings Jean, Chris, Daniel and Peter, and many other family members related by blood or love.
Visitation on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 4-8 p.m. at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home, in Roseville. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, Feb. 26, at 11 a.m. at Maternity of Mary Catholic Church, 1414 Dale St. N, St. Paul, Minn.

Genevieve Ann Netterlund (1931-2026)
Genevieve Netterlund of Forest Lake, Minn., previously of Roseville, Minn., passed away on Feb. 10, 2026. She was 94.
Netterlund was born on Aug. 4, 1931 in Karlstad, Minn., nearly six hours northwest of the Twin Cities close to the Canadian border. She moved to the Cities for nursing school and later worked at the University of Minnesota hospital. She and her family made their home in St. Paul, Minn., then Minneapolis and finally Roseville, Minn. for six decades.
Netterlund loved to sew and knit and donated much of her handiwork to those in need. She and husband Rudy loved camping and fishing on Minnesota’s lakes. She was a devout Christian and longtime member of Roseville’s Cavalry Baptist Church.
Netterlund was preceded in death by her husband Rudy, her parents Anders Frederick Johnson and Gunhild Frederika Peterson and six brothers. She is survived by her three children, eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Ileane L. Ramlow (1937-2026)
Ileane Ramlow of St. Paul, Minn. passed away on Saturday. She was 88.
Ramlow was preceded in death by her husband Harvey. She is survived by her sons David (Nancy), Steven (Sue) and Thomas, grandchildren Katie, Zachary, Trevor, Ben, Brianna and Tyler (Rachael), and great-grandchildren Wyatt, Eladio, Colette, Eloise, Alexander and Forrest.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 23 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home in Roseville. Visitation at the funeral home from 10-11 a.m. Interment at Elmhurst Cemetery.
