Can Ba Nguyen (1935-2026)
Can Ba Nguyen passed away at a hospital near his house on Thursday. He was 90.
Nguyen was a practicing Buddhist who used the Dharma name Duc Tam Niem in his faith community.
Nguyen was born in Chuong My, Ha Dong, Vietnam, now part of Hanoi. He served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the South Vietnamese Army and was later sent to a re-education camp following the war. After his release, he opened a family-run carpentry workshop in Saigon.
Nguyen and his family resettled in Minnesota in 1991. Life in his new homeland began with countless hardships; but with unwavering determination, he was always ready with the spirit and strength to support his wife and children whenever needed. His health began to deteriorate in his 80s and he passed surrounded by his family.
Nguyen is survived by his wife, children and grandchildren.

Ann Marie Ficcadenti (1935-2026)
Ann Marie Ficcadenti, née Doyle, passed away peacefully on Friday. She was 90.
Ficcadenti was born on Aug. 4, 1935 to Mary and Joseph Doyle. She lived a life centered on faith, family and unconditional love, and her presence was a blessing to all who knew her.
Ficcadenti was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert, her son-in-law Tom Seidl, her sister Suzanne Molenaar and her brothers Robert, John and Joseph Doyle.
She is survived by her seven children and their spouses: Julie (Jim) Kallestad, Mark (Linda) Ficcadenti, Beth (Kevin) Rosenthal, Michael (Christine) Ficcadenti, Maria Seidl, John (Kim) Ficcadenti and Gina (Tim) Howard. She also leaves behind 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A private family gathering will be held to celebrate Ann’s life.

Michael P. Keller (1950-2026)
Michael “Mike” Keller of Little Canada, Minn. and Bonita Springs, Fla. passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Feb. 2. He was 75.
Keller grew up in St. Paul and graduated from Cretin High School in 1968 and later the University of Minnesota. He owned Keller Fence Co. with his brother, Jim, and was still working as a consultant when he passed. In his free time, he enjoyed playing golf and meeting people wherever he went. His sociable nature and outgoing personality endeared him to countless friends throughout his life.
Keller was preceded in death by his daughter Michelle, parents Max and Lucy (née Kiley) and son-in-law Mike Nemetz.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years Kathy, daughters Adrianne Nemetz, Danielle (Josh) Neuman, grandchildren Kalle, Tyler and Riley and siblings John and Jim Keller and Mary Lou Dyrhaug.
Visitation from noon-1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home — Roseville, followed by a memorial service. A reception will follow at the Forest Lake American Legion Post 225, 355 W. Broadway Ave., Forest Lake, Minn. from 3-6 p.m.
Private interment at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society.

Keith Allen Hansen (1951-2026)
Keith A. Hansen of south Minneapolis passed away peacefully on Monday. He was 74.
Hansen was an employee of St. Mary’s/Fairview Hospital for over 40 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife Debra (née Anderson), parents Robert and Mary and brother Bob. He is survived by his sons Noel (Colleen) and Joseph (Chinda), grandsons Nathan and Nicholas and best friend Ray Flynn.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, March 6 from 4-7 p.m. at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home — Roseville. Hansen will be privately interred at Hillside Cemetery in Minneapolis.
